Within a day's drive of our location in Kingston, Ontario, Canada there are 130 million people, of whom fifty percent or more have pets. Major centres such as Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and Syracuse are less than four hours away by car, allowing us to reach out expeditiously to assist those in need.
Much of this area, at present, is without services of this kind, particularly the smaller communities outside the major centres. Our location enables LSABB to build a large donor base. Within a short drive of Kingston these very same centres provide thousands of donors for blood collections.
